Pearson airport distribution upgrade
Toronto, ON

Pearson Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Canada with over 75 airlines operating approximately 1,100 daily departures from more than 180 destinations across all six of the world's inhabited continents.

JSM was contracted to refurbish the Pearson Airport 35KV underground distribution system. This project included upgrading the underground cabling in new concrete encased ductbank and manhole system, new outdoor substation and metal clad switchgear, liquid-filled pad mount transformers and underground secondary distribution, terminations, testing, and commissioning. All associated civil works were also performed by JSM while coordinating airside movements.
